On 8 of August 2015, a tribute was given to the former president of India APJ ABDUL KALM AZAD in NSS program. All NSS volunteers were gathered at sharp 9:30 am in A.V Hall. Whole room was filled with energized volunteer’s .After all were settled a power point presentation was conducted by shruti and deepti NSS volunteer. A documentary film on the life and achievements of Kalam was  screened in which contained a compilation of interviews with  Mr. Kalam  which focused on   launching of the  missiles, his contribution to education system, and also  his experiences of his life, it was very good to listen to him. He is a inspiration to any person of doing good to the nation, to contribute to the development to our country. A ppt on life and times of Kalam was prepared presented by shruti pareek and deepti khandelwal.

In the ppt shruti talked about his VISION 2020 of development in every field and promotion of scientific temper to take India among the premier league nations of the world. his vision also dealt with development in every field like, agriculture, electricity, water and education for the growth of India.

He was known as “MISSLIE MAN” for his great work and contribution to India.

Lastly the NSS PROGRAMME OFFICER Dr. SHARAD RATHORE ma’am thanked Shruti, Deepti, Tuhina and Akansha for her great work.
