Workshop on Creating Awareness about culture of Assam

with special focus on Bihu dance

In order to create awareness about culture of Assam a workshop cum interactive session was conducted at Government School, Badmohanpura, Jaipur on 28^th February 2020 by NSS volunteers of IIS (deemed to be university), Jaipur. For the activity, NSS volunteers prepared hand- made posters related to culture of Assam specifically focusing on traditional dance of Assam - Bihu. By means of the posters, students of the school were made aware about Bihu dance of Assam. The awareness drive was followed by workshop on learning Bihu dance. In the workshop NSS volunteers made the school students learn basic steps of Bihu dance. Students of school highly appreciated the workshop.
